Nintendo-Pros.com now has a brand new IRC channel – #nintendo-pros. IRC (Internet Relay Chat) allows you to talk with nearly anybody in the world from anywhere! You can either use your own desktop client or you can use the online client here at nintendo pros!

For those wanting to use their own client, here are the details for the server and channel:

Server: irc.wyldryde.org
Port: 6667
Channel: #nintendo-pros

So, to get connected, we start by running these commands separately;

/server irc.wyldryde.org:6667

/join #nintendo-pros

Ok, so you’re now connected to our server and are in your channel. What about setting up a username? We’ll first register one with a password and your email address so nobody else can misuse you’re account and get you in trouble:

/NickServ REGISTER PASSWORD EMAIL

(Change PASSWORD and EMAIL to the required values)

Ok, so now you’re registered. The only problem is that you’ll have to login every time you re-access the server/channel. To do this, we use the commands

/nick NICKNAME
/msg nickserv identify PASSWORD
